Are bitless bridles covered by insurance?

As bitless bridles are one of the five main groups of bit as taught by the BHS and Pony Club there should be no reason why they should not be covered on your insurance however if you are concerned then it is worth checking with your insurance company and if possible getting confirmation in writing.

At present the only insurance available which is specifically designed for bitless riding is through membership of the Good Horsemanship Society.
